Generating business opportunity leads using the internet can be an overwhelming journey to those who are fairly new to trying it. There seems to be so much to learn. It gets even worse though. Once you start searching the internet for answers to your problems, you then get on other marketers “lists”. You start downloading all of the “free” “stuff” that placed you on those lists. I say this almost sarcastically but, that is how I started learning! It is not all bad. On the down side though, I started going through information overload. There is just “So Much Out There”.
Nobody I personally know even thinks about using the internet. I know “many” who have or had some kind of home business. Of hese “many”, I can think of nobody who talked about marketing that business on the
internet to generate leads. It can be difficult trying to learn all of the “ins and outs” of this, doing something for the first time alone. That is life I guess! As I look back on all of this though, I feel there are a few steps a person can take to start out with and everything else kind of falls in course I’m talking about SEO (search engine optimization) which I believe is the only way to go. I played this idea around in my head a few times, drew a few things on paper and I believe this will work. There still is that learning curve but you will make better progress by doing the following:
1.) Define Your Business – What is it you want to sell?
2.) Define your Keywords and Keyword Phrases – These are the keyword terms or phrases your business opportunity leads are imputing into the search engines. They are doing searches on the internet looking for what you have! There are keyword selector tools that you can use to help choose the keyword phrases you will go after.
3.) Define Your Domain Name – The domain name is important to search engine optimization! It would contain (hopefully) two or more of your main keywords. You might have to play around with this some to get a domain name you really like.
If you do those three things first while taking your time and writing them down on paper, I think you will find that what you are about to accomplish becomes easier. There is still much to learn while generating those business opportunity leads you do those three things, you now have your blueprint to success. May the leads be with you!
